Chaplaincy
Croft Chaplaincy Centre At Saint Catherine’s College
Our school chaplain is dedicated to nurturing pastoral care and encouraging spiritual and moral leadership through a living relationship with God. The core role of our school chaplain is as follows:
- To support the school in emphasising its spirituality and Catholicity as set out in the school’s mission statement.
- To actively endorse the implementation of the Sacred Heart ethos and visions of St. Madeleine Sophie Barat.
- To support and encourage the pastoral care of the whole school; pupils, staff and parents ensuring that everyone is treated with unconditional positive regard.
- To promote, plan and organise the celebration of liturgies and co-operate with others in developing the school as a Sacred Heart community.
- To maintain close links with the parish clergy and local community.
The Croft Chaplaincy Centre simply but effectively endorses a “faith presence, committed to the values of Christ.”
